Web Site Content: Restricted Use and Fair Dealing
Anyone visiting the PLEPUC Web site can consult and download content, as long as it is used only for the purposes of private study or research. Downloading, printing and other applications of this content require visitors to limit the use of these files or documents to fair dealing. Any use of this content must bear the copyright and ownership notices as well as a reference to the source (including a reference to the PLEPUC Web site).
For example, the PLEPUC Web site can be referred to as follows:
PLEPUC, “[insert the title of the resource],” Présences du littéraire dans l’espace public
canadien Web site, [Online] http://plepuc.org (page viewed on [insert date]).
Unless otherwise specified, photographs appearing on the PLEPUC Web site are protected under copyright law. These photographs can only be used for the purposes of private study or research.
The use of photographs on the PLEPUC Web site is part of a research-creation project, as defined by the SSRHC.
In order to structure fair dealing with regard to these photographs, the following measures were taken:
• Reduction of the possibility of saving images using any major search engine
• Refusal of permission for indexing images on the PLEPUC Web site by search engines
• Presentation of images in low resolution
